Projects & tasks
- ·Projects are larger initiatives with chat, tasks, costs, photos and hours.
- ·Any member can create projects. Editing is allowed by app admins or the creator.
- ·Tasks: open → taken → done. Any member can take on a task.
Work hours & balance
- ·Recorded hours count immediately towards the work balance of the selected year.
- ·The CHF balance value is an internal comparison value – not a wage, no payout.
- ·Balance per group: actual hours vs. target hours (total hours × share %). The sum of differences is 0.
Expenses
- ·Only record expenses you paid yourself on behalf of the community.
- ·Status: submitted → approved → paid (or rejected/cancelled).
- ·Editing is only possible in the "submitted" status. Approving/paying is reserved for the finance admin.
Finances & payment runs
- ·Finances are a management tool – not a bank account representation.
- ·Payment runs bundle approved expenses and export an ISO 20022 pain.001 file.
- ·The actual payment is made in your e-banking. Partenio does not execute payments.

Mobile & PWA
- ·Partenio runs in the browser on iPhone and Android – no app installation needed.
- ·Add to home screen: browser menu → "Add to Home Screen".
- ·Optimized for mobile use with bottom navigation.
House rules & shared rules
- ·App admins create binding internal rules and publish them as a version.
- ·Published versions are immutable – changes create a new version.
- ·Members acknowledge each version individually. The acknowledgement status is visible to admins.
Frequently asked questions
How do I create a project?
Under Projects → "New project". Any member can create projects.
Are work hours a wage?
No. The CHF value is an internal comparison value and not a payment obligation.
Who can approve an expense?
A finance admin. Once approved, the approval cannot be reversed.
Can I change a paid expense?
No. From "approved" onwards, no content changes are possible.
What happens after the 30 trial days?
Data remains readable, new entries are locked (restricted mode) until a subscription is active.
Do I need to provide a credit card immediately?
No. The trial is free. A card is only needed when choosing a plan.
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes, via the Paddle portal. The subscription ends at the period end.
Is data from different organizations separated?
Yes, strictly. There is no cross-tenant data sharing.
How do "House rules" work?
Under House rules, an app admin creates a rule, publishes it as a version and has members acknowledge it. Changes are saved as a new version – old versions remain immutable.
